Step 1: Cut your rough opening. |

| Step 2: Install the window (or door). |  |
| Step 3: Run a strip of flashing along the bottom fin first. It is important to start at the bottom. This reinforces the downward flow of water so rain and moisture don't seep in any small openings. |

| Step 4: Run a strip of flashing down both sides, overlapping the bottom strip. This encourages water to flow downward naturally and avoid getting trapped where the seams meet. |

| Step 5: Run a strip of flashing over the top, overlapping the two side strips. Now you're ready for your siding or outside surface treatment. |  |
